What’s on in June 2021 in the Lake District?
Despite the events of the past year, June 2021 is looking to shape up quite nicely. With a host of regular events making a welcome return. As such, giving you even more incentive to book one of our stylish spa suites and hot tubs for the weekend.
Keswick Ghost Walks
Getting out and about in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside during your spa break is a must. Although, for a different kind of walk, how about discovering Keswick’s hidden past? As you learn all about the ghosts, ghouls and the sordid history of yesteryear.
The Lakesman Triathlon
Are you looking to dive into more water than just a soak in a private hot tub? Then keen swimmer should note the Lakesman Triathlon is still open for last-minute registrations. Although it’s not just about the Lakes, as the event requires the endurance of both cross-country running and a challenging cycle ride.
The 10in10 Challenge
Another popular outdoor event during June 2021 in the Lake District is set out along a 16mile trek. Covering some of Cumbria most prestigious climbs, met with incredible views. As the name suggests, there’s 10 to conquer in total. Including the likes of Crag Hill and Whiteless Pike. Although if you’d rather do things at your own pace, there’s always the peak of Orrest Head. Keswick Beer Festival
While this annual event is currently scheduled for the first weekend in June, it’s worthwhile checking local listings. As while pub gardens are back open, larger gatherings are dependent on the roadmap out of lockdown. Although, should there be any cancellations, you can still find plenty of places to enjoy a pint or two of locally brewed beer in Windermere.
