June in Windermere 2019
There are a host of things to do this June in Windermere, from the regular to a number of one-off events.
If you’ve booked a spa suite in Windermere and looking for how to spend your holiday, then you won’t be disappointed. As one of the most popular tourist destinations in the UK, it’s time to find out why.
Lake Windermere itself is the largest body of water within Cumbria, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors. While the summer months are likely to bring sunshine, May is ending with some of the hottest days of the year so far. As such, June in Windermere is looking to be perfect for a short break before the main holiday season.
You can take a cruise on Lake Windermere, or enjoy more energetic activities such as swimming or kayaking. While the sun may still be shining, the cooler yet dry weather will be ideal for country walks, cycling or even riding horseback.
